Do you know your SenderScore?

SenderScore is a measure of email deliverability – how many spam filter’s you’ll get through. Or (roughly speaking) how likely it is that your emails will get into the inbox.

If you want to see how well your emails fair you first need to find our the IP address from which your emails are sent. This is because your deliverability is in large part based on your IP address’s reputation.

  • Ask your IT team

OR

  • In Outlook 2007 open the email and click on the little box at the bottom right corner of the “Options” box in the header
  • At the bottom of the pop up is a box “Internet headers” in there is the line “Received: from…….([111.11.111.11]). It’s the numbers between the brackets that are your email sending IP

Once you’ve got your IP address:

  • Go to the SenderScore website
  • Enter your IP in the big IP entry box
  • Click “Look up”
  • On the next page a number will appear in a big red box – this is your Sender Score

Why not check out the sender score of your competition while you’re there….

For any of our clients who are doing this – our score is 96.
